By employing a mixed-methods approach utilizing quantitative and qualitative research methods, the study investigates the attitudes, beliefs, and emotional connections Algerians hold towards their historical heritage. The findings reveal a positive perception of these destinations, with respondents frequently using terms like "interesting," "educational," and "authentic" to describe them. This research sheds light on the significance of historical sites in fostering cultural appreciation and domestic tourism within Algeria.en_US
