Abstract: This study seeks to reveal whether the use of corrective feedback promotes the learners’ spelling performance or not. The participants were seventeen third year English language students at Bejaia University. The aim of this study is to know the effect of teachers’ feedback on the students’ spelling performance. For this purpose, the method chosen to treat the research problem is the experimental one. Thus, the research participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group of nine participants who experienced the teachers’ feedback during the period of study, and the comparison group with eight participants who did not experience the corrective feedback. The two groups are from the same class and are taught by the same teacher. For the data collection, we have chosen the use of tests, in which both pre and post-tests were used during the experiment
