Abstract:
Automobile insurance has proven to be a very dynamic insurance branch worldwide, in Algeria, its market share is above 50%. The purpose of this work was to analyse how the automobile insurance branch impacts the growth of an insurance company, case of CAAT agency 191 Bejaia. Gross written premiums, claims management and accounts receivables
management were the important variables in determining the impact of all three branches within the agency namely; the automobile, transport and IARD branches. It was concluded that the automobile branch contributes large number of clients.
