Abstract:
The study is organized through three major chapters. Chapter1 provides a large literature on
financial liberalization and economic growth, it reviews the main theoretical and empirical
research that highlight the impact of financial liberalization on economic growth. Chapter2 is an
overview of Tanzanian economy and financial liberalization in Tanzania. And, chapter 3 is
econometric analysis of the relationship between financial liberalization and economic growth
