dc.description.abstract | This study deals with the effect of cooperative learning strategies on 3rd year students' writing skill. The aim is to show whether the implementation of cooperative learning strategies enhances students' writing skill or not and what are the students' perceptions toward collaborative writing at the University of A-Mira, department of English. The research adopted questionnaires (pre-post) and students' essays throughout the experiment. Accordingly, the result demonstrates that the students after the experiment made a progression in their writing. Moreover, CL strategies motivate students to write better. So, the results confirmed the hypothesis that the students write better in collaboration after the experiment in which these strategies create a comfortable atmosphere for both the skilled and the unskilled students | en_US |
