Abstract

If the speaker misses what he says, and he does not pay attention to accuracy and certainty, this may result in a lot of errors and problems. Therefore, each speaker must keep silent when, necessary and weigh his words. In other words, he speaks only if and when the need arises, otherwise, it is better to keep silent. Furthermore, the need for silence is a way to avoid empty discussions, curiosity or others. The principle is that someone should not speak in vacuum or remain silent on a truth, but should only speak about things that are useful for him in life and after resurrection. Silence in the Qur'an is mentioned either directly by mentioning it or by one of its synonyms, or can be understood from the context. In some situations, silent is praised whereas in some others it is rejected
