Analysis of the political discourse The speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a sample

Abstract

This research aims to achieve a political discourse analysis and focuses in particular on the speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that we will take it as a sample for analysis, this speech is the one that he gave on the day of the attempted coup against his rule in 2016. As we will provide through this work an analytical view of this discourse, to discover the secret behind its success in influencing the masses and abort the coup attempt that almost toppled his regime
