Abstract

Children's literature, since its emergence in the West and its migration to Arab
countries, has witnessed changes that have touched all its aspects. Globalisation was one of
the most important stations that changed the forces of balance in this literature. This was
because it touched the cultural aspects of the child in touch with his imagination. In the
form of his own, investing in modern technology techniques that have become contributing
to the upbringing of the individual by working to spread western consumer values and
patterns and unifying a Western model. Which embodied in the novel of the young Prince
of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, selected because it is unique in this area, she mixed a global
discourse with another linguistic element that attract the attention of the child. Here, the
importance of this paper examines the extent to which globalisation affects the cultural
pattern of children and society
