Text criticism between deconstruction and interpretation (Reading in Project Ali Harb)

Abstract

The philosophical critique project of "text and truth" by " Ali Harb" is based on a double reading strategy that combines deconstruction and interpretation. This double reading offers paradoxical epistemological problems, because both Hermeneutics and deconstruction are at a distance of tension and disagreement. Unlike Hermineutics, Deconstruction does not read the text with the aim of its interpretation. Rather, its aim is to subvert of the text unit, and uncover the logic of its internal tensions. In this study, we seek to examine the effectiveness of this strategic approach in reading Arab philosophical projects in contemporary Arab philosophical discourse; we will clarify its cognitive and critical potential and ask what its anomalies and paradoxes are at the same time.
