The novel of the Spartan Diwan deals with the history of Algeria through five people: Debon, Caviar, Ibn Mayar, Hamma al-Salawi, and Douga, it narrates the events of the history of Algeria in a period not exceeding seventeen years (1815-1833), in which it was confirmed in more detail over the period of 1833 Before the novelist took us back to the year 1815 in order to recount the Battle of Waterloo, in which the novelist presented the defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte, taking advantage of the propeller incident, as a horizon for the future of the French invasion of Algeria, and a watershed stage in the transformation of identity from Ottoman dependency to the barrier invasion Self and identity, the narration came in light of the struggle of multiple voices, with the varying values it carries, and a contemplative extent to the target goal, for all parties. Despite the fact that the Spartan Diwan is a pseudonym and has a close connection with the invasion of Algeria, the novelist puts us before events that were in their entirety related to the social and cultural relations of the city of Algeria in the name of (Al-Mahrousa) by manifestations of poverty and misery, in preparation for the Savior's evacuation from the French.
