Modernist tendency in contemporary amazigh poetry The poet Lounis Ait Manguellet as an example of study

Abstract

The study entitled "Modernist tendency in Contemporary Amazigh Poetry: The poet Lounis Ait Manguellet is taken as an example of a study" try to show the manifestations of modernity (modernism) in the time of Amzigh poetry through the collection of the poet Lounis Ait Manguellet. This collection is unique in view of the beauty of its form and the depth of its content. Therefore, the study was limited to the analysis through the chapters of the research to the concept of modernity, poetic modernity and poetic propensity in amazigh poetry and the manifestations of modernity in the poetry of Lounis Ait Manguellet which were the subject of the study at three levels: the rational, legendary and foresight tendency. The research came to the conclusion that the poet Ait Manguellet contributed, with his poetic creations, to the modernization of the Amazigh poetic text by ridding it of the narrowness of classicism and introducing it into the scope and flexibility of modernism
