This article is about the effectiveness of interactive communication in shaping the internal and external structure of the digital text and the way of its reception, and its openness to several interpretations in the narrative contexts, which is shown by the communication act while sailing in the virtual spaces that mimic the reality. In addition, digital text contains audio-visual icons, interactive links and their evidence that it carries within the narrative contexts of the digital text. Therefore, the problem is about the mechanisms of interactive communication in the digital text space as revealed through the digital text included in the space of the digital novel “Chat” by the Jordanian novelist Muhammad Sanajleh
