Mechanisms of Orientalism discourse in reading the linguistic text Sibawayh book as a model

Abstract

Orientalists were interested in the Arab sciences in all their branches, till it became a fertile field for most Orientalist studies, and for most Western approaches and theories in the field of applied studies, Hence, literature and language had the greatest chance in these studies, all of that is in order to provide multiple and contemporary readings of the most important traditional Arabic texts. In this scientific paper, we present the most important theoretical and applied Orientalist readings of Sibaway’s book after it fell into the hands of Orientalists. Through research into the mechanisms of Orientalist discourse in Arabic studies (literary and linguistic).
