Abstract

This article is an attempt to compare the two migratory movements, Algerians to France and those to Canada. This comparative study between these two migrations, on a single group but on two differentiated spaces, is carried out while opting for the same reflexion and angle of analysis followed by SAYAD Abdelmalek to show and defend the exemplarity of the Algerian emigration in France. By treating the same elements developed in "exemplary immigration", namely: the singular genesis, labour immigration, family immigration and the variety of power relations, the study reveals the common points as well as the divergences between these two migrations.

Key words : Algerian emigration-immigration, Canada, France, comparison, exemplarity.
