Bagay Town, castle of Donitian

Abstract

Bagaï town is regarded as the most important city of Numidia recorded in the ancient reference, its geographical position allowed it to play the most major role in the events that happened in Africa, during the fourth Gregorian century, as well as the following political events that disturb and disequilibrium the security and stability the Roman Empire in the area, the Bagay town was an opponent of policies applied by Roman Emperors against Donatits, and poking their nose in the African church matters, this town refused to apply the decision taken against Donatian movement, it was the big home in the area, and then it became the shelter of Dehia, Queen of Aures, alias Kahina during the Islamic conquests.
