Abstract

This study deals with the developments that took place in Wilaya 3 starting with the departure abroad of its symbolic leader Krim Belkacem and his successors’ role  in dealing with revolution issues (armament, coordination of work between the states...) and the relationship with the revolution leadership at home and abroad. It also examines the repercussions these developments had on the evolution of Wilaya 3, the nature of Wilaya 3 leaders’ presence in some states and their role in activating the armed struggle (the fourth / sixth / first) Did this presence represent Wilaya 3 command of other states, and their control by Krim, its historical leader, in the context of his struggle with his rivals, Boussouf et Ben Tobal?  Or did this presence form the armed struggle comrades’ cohesion to move forward with the revolution away from regional considerations and personal conflicts? The elucidation and documentation of these images gives the study a modern dimension, and it is supported by evidence and documents,
