Functioning and organization of University
University of Bejaia is composed of a rectory, decision-making and pedagogical bodies, faculties and departments and it has administrative, technical and common services.
The rectory is under responsibility of Rector of University:
- Vice Rectories under responsibility of Vice Rectors;
- General secretariat of the university in charge of functioning and administrative and financial of structures under its responsibility;
- Central library of university under responsibility of a director in charge of functioning and management of structures.
Decision-making bodies:
- Board of directors studies and proposes any measure that can improve the functioning of university and foster the achievement of its objectives.
- Scientific committee proposes policy guidelines of research and scientific and technical documentation of university and shows its point of view on any other pedagogical and scientific issue presented by its president.
