his study presents a microeconometric analysis of the demand for urban transport in Bejaia city, using the Logit Multinomial model which demonstrates the influence of certain economic variables on the behavior of public transport users. To this end, this work is the result of a survey of an arbitrary sample of 300 urban transport users. We have attempted to measure the elasticity of demand in this area, using data collected through a questionnaire. The results show that bus transport is an inferior good (Giffen), the increase in average income leads to a decrease in the demand for urban transport and finally, bus transport and the automobile are substitutable goods.
