Abstract

The road risk is currently considered to be the leading occupational risk in terms of the number of deaths caused. The aim of this study is to evaluate the economic cost that a professional road accident can generate within a transport company in Algeria. The evaluation of the costs is made on the semitrailer type vehicles of the NUMILOG agency in Béjaïa over the period from 14/03/2020 to 17/06/2020. Through this study, we were able to estimate the different average costs that NUMILOG incurs in the event of a road accident.
