THE FOUNDING MODELS OF URBAN ANALYSIS AND CITY FORMATION
Keywords:
Models, urban analysis, city formation, networksAbstract
Our scientific approach is illustrative; it is a schematic presentation of the main theoretical approaches dealing with the formation of cities in correlation with the notion of networks. In this context, the following question is self-evident: "Is the formation of urban areas and their evolution a spontaneous and automatic process? Or, this is explained by factors endogenous and exogenous to the city? «Through this paper, which adopts an evolutionary approach rooted in time, we will try to illustrate the main theories and founding models that have addressed the urban configuration. In a second part, our reflection aims to understand, as deeply as possible, the formation, organization and operation of cities and urban networks
