Abstract

The beginning of the 21st century is marked by the rapprochement between companies and NGOs.
Indeed, relations between the two actors have softened, leaving antagonistic postures or ignorance to
give rise to collaborations that impact the overall performance of firms. At the same time, the legal
obligations about dissemination of societal information have increased, prompting companies to
publish data on their responsible activities. This research questions the behavior of companies and
seeks to understand how companies report on their collaborations with NGOs? Our empirical study
highlights the verbatim reports of 28respondents, 14NGOs and 14companies. The results of our data
collection were studied usingNVivo 11.
