LA MODERNITE DE TAJMAÂT ET LE RENOUVEAU DU MOUVEMENT ASSOCIATIF

Abstract

Solidarity has existed in Kabylia since centuries, it based on the laws of "Tajmaat". The latter is
characterized by a horizontal organization and participative governance. The renewof Tajmaat (its
functioning) and the appearence of associations in the villages are interested in new territorial issues
such as sustainable development. Our study will focus on the fifth edition of the competition "the
cleanest village" launched by Tizi-Ouzou departement to motivate the village population to work hard
on waste management: sorting and composting. This created a transversal dynamic through the
coordination of the actors, carrying out multidisciplinary activities in each village in order to carry out
adequate projects and the beginning of the circular economy project in the Kabylian villages.
