The objective of this research is to identify the determinants that have a positive effect on the adoption process
of a managerial innovation. Theoretically speaking, the promotion of this type of innovation in the company
depends on several determinants. The latter are qualified as levers that leaderships have to appropriate in
order to reinvent their organizational modes and to improve their performance. The study covers ten industrial
companies in the Souss Massa region (Agadir-Morocco). The methodological approach used is a qualitative
approach of an exploratory nature. 14 semi-structured interviews were conducted with business leaders and
managers who had experienced the process of adopting a new managerial practice (quality management
system). The results of the analysis show the existence of a range of determinants which may be internal and
external, and which are considered as key success factors for managerial innovation.
