Abstract

this paper analyses the impact of international trade in services on the integration of the chadian
economy into global value chains, using a model adapted to the realities of the country and data from
1990 to 2020. the methodology is based on the vector error correction model (vecm). the results show
that transport, education, health, telecommunications and financial services have a positive effect on
chad's inclusion in these chains. we recommend that the authorities step up international trade in
services to boost the country's competitiveness.
