Following the elements of the theory of space, our dissertation examines the notion of Otherness in the novel. This research paper strives to give a better understanding of the effects of such a lifeless space on people living in it. The work aims at shedding light on Paul Bowles literary work and presents another image of the North African Sahara en_US
