dc.description.abstract The present study sheds light on the student.s mental health during the COVID-19 period. It covers mainly the factors that affected the students. The aim of this study is to investigate the EFL student.s psychological health and explore the obstacles and the challenges while learning during the confinement. This study seeks to identify their mental health problems as well as learning obstacles. In addition, it also aims to explore their feelings, attitudes and perspectives towards the COVID-19 crisis. This research is conducted under a descriptive qualitative design. In order to gather data, we have administered a questionnaire to 45 second year EFL students in the University of Bejaia. The results of the research findings have shown that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted their learning negatively. en_US
