Abstract:
Some experiences appear to be of such complexity that language may fail to adequately capture their nuances. That is why writing about traumatic events is a real act of courage. This study relies on feminist and psychoanalytic rhetorical analysis to examine some aspects of Chanel Miller’s Know My Name and Lucia Osborne-Crowley’s I Choose Elena.
