Abstract:
This study investigated the effect of reading strategy training on the pupil’s reading exam performance. We have used a mixed research method; both quantitative and qualitative. The use of a classroom observation, reading tests and pupils’ questionnaires paved the way to the presentation of results. The analysis of the findings revealed a positive correlation between the reading strategy training conducted throughout the experimental work; and the pupils’ reading exam scores.
