Abstract:
This study explores the effect of pre-spot planning on the writing accuracy of second-year LMD students enrolled at Bejaia University. To achieve the goal of this study, the pre-experimental model is adopted; it is based on the analysis of data collected as part of a mixed methodology based on quantitative methods and qualitative. Whereas the former was based on written tests (pre- and post-tests) and questionnaires, it was based on text analysis and classroom observation. Which makes our methodology triangulated. These tools were used to answer the following research questions: 1) - What kind of difficulties do our learners encounter in writing? 2) - Do our learners plan before writing? If so, what kind of planning strategies do they use to develop their writing? 3) - what effect does planning have in writing on the accuracy of our learners?
