Tlemcen scholarly trips to Al-Azhar and their role in linking the bonds of cultural communication between the East and the Maghreb between 962 H / 1555 AD - 1107 H / 1699 AD
Abstract
This paper examines the relations that brought together the scholars of Tlemcen and their Egyptian counterparts, and paving the way for the continuation and deepening of scientific relations between 1555 and 1699, and scholarly trips, during this period by many Tlemcen men to Al-Azhar, which attracted them thanks to its teachers and their outstanding knowledge. These relations were not official, but were relations between intellectuals:, scholars, Sufis ..., at a time when political relations were did not disrupt or stop this scientific communication and the pursuit of knowledge, Therefore, this study attempts to show the cultural impact of these scholars through the Hejaz journeys during the modern era, by using the narrative historical method.
